Bearfootin’ Public Art Walk
Take a walk along Main Street and decide which of the 20 new bears are your favorites. Each custom created work of art is waiting for photos and hugs! New bears arrive each May and are auctioned off in October at a live auction on the Historic Courthouse stairs.

All Aboard! Join the Apple Valley Railroad Club for a special Polar Express Story Party at the Historic Hendersonville Depot following the Christmas parade in downtown. Space is limited to 40 per reading and will last 15-20 minutes per reading.. Santa, free hot chocolate and goodies will also be available. All ages are welcomed

The new surface is faster and makes for easier gliding. Two curling are available to try your skills. Play a variety of free games while you wait your turn on the ice. Skating offers endless family-friendly fun.The synthetic ice skating rink is made from special polymers so it can be enjoyed year-round in any temperature. Skate rental included in admission price. Take a magical hayride through Historic Downtown Hendersonville among its twinkling lights and festive decorations. Board the tractor-drawn wagon ride at the Visitor Center, located at 201 South Main Street. Reservations are not accepted, first come, first serve basis.

The Arts Council of Henderson County presents the Art on Main Fine Art / Fine Craft festival on September 29 & 30, 2018. Stroll Historic Downtown Hendersonville, NC, and shop for fine art and fine craft by artists from Henderson County and the Southeastern region of the U.S.. Media includes work in clay, metal, glass, fiber, wood, painting, photography, jewelry, etc. Art on Main also features live art demonstrations.
